    Dear Sir/Madam

I’m writing to you about the YEP for its Save the Fire Works for Bonfire Night Campaign.
I have come across groups of young lads buying danger rockets 25 to 50 repeaters. They laugh and joke about what they are going to do with the rockets. They wait until it becomes dark and people are coming home from work off the buses then they lay the rockets on the floor and set them of on the passé by. Once the rockets are let off it becomes very dangerous because they repeat it’s self up to 50 times. Some people have some serious burns due to repeaters.

    Yours faithfully,

    David

My name is Mrs Ahmed Pollob. I would like to make a complaint about the firework displays going on around the area were I live ( Roundhay Road ) .There are fireworks going off all through the night starting from the morning .

I have a three year old child who is so frightened of all the sounds going on outside that she won’t even move ,sets in one place ,and cries if I go to do anything around the house .
When I was a child you didn’t have children playing with fireworks wherever they felt like it and it was always handled by adults.

we always played with fireworks in the parks ,in the evening , where every one could enjoy watching the fireworks ,not being afraid of which direction it might go to or who might get hurt as they walk by . We did not let the fireworks go off all the way right until the middle of the night .

Today, the children are playing with fireworks whenever they feel like it and having no respect for others ,they do as they wish .
There are some parents who are allowing their children to do this and they even join in with them .

If the public cannot taka some responsibility for their on actions then I think it should be made illegal for whoever sells them to public .It should only be handled by a professional person .

We all enjoy having fun but we must also think of others ,the youngest and the elderly .
It would be really helpful if someone could do something about this situation ,if even you needed me to do anything to help you with this then I will be more then happy to help .

    Your faithfully,

    Mrs Ahmed Pollob
